NOW THE NEWS IN FULL.....
The Nigerian Senate has been commended for carrying out a thorough, unbiased, as well as successful screening and confirmation of ministerial nominees sent by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The former Secretary to the Imo State government and Minister Designate, Professor Anthony Anwuka, gave the recommendation while speaking to reporters at the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, the Imo State capital, upon his arrival from the nation's capital Abuja, after his ministerial screening.
He said that the Senate, to a large extent proved to Nigerians that the screening of ministers was not a child's play, as they showed maturity and expertise in the way and manner the screening process was carried out irrespective of political differences.
Professor Anwuka expressed optimism that the new set of ministers under the leadership of President Buhari would deliver the needed dividends of democracy to all Nigerians, contribute their own quota to national development and help actualise the real change being propagated by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In similar vein, a member of the House of Representatives from Okigwe South and Chairman, Committee on Health Services, Honourable Chike Okafor, also lauded the Senate for their feat on the ministerial screening.
He said for the first time in the history of democracy in Nigeria, the Senate during the screening exercise showed absolute objectivity, pointing out that it was an improvement compared to past screening.

YOU CAN SKIP THIS PART(short joke)...
A young couple moved into a new neighbourhood. The next morning while eating breakfast, the young woman saw her neighbour through the window hanging the wash outside.
"That laundry is not clean," she said. "She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap".
Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time the neighbour would hang laundry to dry, the young woman would make the same
comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: "Look, she has learnt how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this!"
The husband replied: "I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows."
And so it is with life.
What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.
Easy to discuss other people, their lives and things that don't really concern us.
Yet we tend to forget- our window isn't that clean after all.
Clean up your window with the WORD! (THE TRUTH.)
LORD, please give us the strength, humility and courage that we may work on our faults first rather than seeing the faults in Others and castigating them.
Have a beautiful Week !
