Evening workout wraps up first double session for Luis Enrique's squad

The same group that trained together on Wednesday doubled up on Thursday for the first two-a-day session scheduled for Luis Enrique's squad this preseason.

Twenty first team players plus Samper, Suárez, and Gumbau from the B team trained in both the morning and the evening sessions. They only players who were absent are still on vacation — Dani Alves, Neymar Jr. Claudio Bravo, Javier Mascherano, Lionel Messi and Marc-André ter Stegen.

Another double session is planned for Friday at 9:00am and 6.30pm CET. The squad will be off on Saturday before heading to the United States on Sunday for the International Champions Cup.
