Nigeria now has nude posers! Yeah, unfortunately,we now do.This is something we used to think was "that rubbish white people do",now i guess things have changed. I want to talk about the latest one in town. Her name is Beverly Osu, and I had to ''Google'' her to find out who she is and what she is about. All I found is Vanity. Pointless, shallow, debasing, attention and fame seeking vanity. Not that I think seeking fame is wrong. Many great scientist and inventors sought fame which basically led to their achievements. But for Miss Beverly, I found no great W.A.E.C results or achievemment, no daring rescue, no great selfless act, no great invention or contribution to Nigeria. So why do we care about her naked body? Big Brother Africa. Yes. Remember that show? That annoying waste of my time and TV space? Well, not criticising lovers of the show, I just never liked that show. I watched like two episodes and totally lost interest. But we aren't here to talk about BBA. We are here to talk about Beverly Osu. We are here to talk about Nigerians. We are here to talk about the fact that we now seem to accept anything mordernization throws at us.Must we  start allowing the worst of our people dominate our popular culture? The likes of Maheeda, Afrocandy and now beverly osu should not set the pace of our acceptable behaviours and norms. The west lost in terms of culture, why must we follow suit? Not everything the west does is great. I believe if their fore fathers had forseen this kind of decay in their countries when they where designing them, they would have put up preventive measures. I think they just never imagined that full functioning, well fed and educated people could ever find a way to justify walking around nude! lol .So my question to us today is , why are we allowing this same decay today.

NOW THE NEWS IN FULL.....

Offers Platform for local developers to monetize content. Leading telecom's services provider, Airtel Nigeria, has entered a strategic partnership with neXva, Inc., a global provider of white branded app stores, to launch Airtel branded mobile app stores in Nigeria.

This new initiative will empower local app developers in Nigeria to monetize their content & benefit commercially from their innovation.

Under this agreement, neXva will provide Airtel Nigeria with a full app store ecosystem that will be deployed through several platforms including a customized website, mobile website and Android app as well as a developer portal for the localization of the app store.

Speaking on the new initiative, Maurice Newa, Chief Commercial Officer of Airtel Nigeria, said: "We want to bring locally relevant mobile applications to our customers as well as continue to drive local application development by empowering talented app developers in Nigeria.
"We selected neXva for this strategic alliance because of their robust technology offering and the unique advantage they offer local app developers to monetize their content. We realize that localization is key to the success of Airtel's app stores in Nigeria," he said.

"Bringing neXva's app store platform to Nigeria is a great opportunity for neXva, "said Brian J. Friedman, founder and CEO of neXva. "Deploying our app store platform along with a highly curated selection of content will, for the first time, bring relevant, localized apps to Airtel's subscribers in Nigeria.
"Localized content combined with our direct connection to the Airtel Africa markets brings a unique opportunity for local and international developers and content providers to monetize their content through neXva's neXpayer™ operator billing API that enables content purchases through the mobile wallet."

The neXva powered Airtel app stores consist of free and premium applications and will be available for all feature phones and smartphones. The stores feature "one-click" billing that enables Airtel's customers to purchase apps through their operator billing as well as neXva's neXpayer™ technology that enables in-app purchases and subscription billing.

Browsing on the site will attract no charges; however, customers will have to pay for premium apps.
Customers can access the Airtel Appstore by dialing the USSD code *905# to get the link to the URL or visiting www.apps.ng.airtellive.com or by searching for the android app on Google play
